NAAC full form : National Assessment Accreditation Council

NAAC represents National Assessment and Accreditation Council. It is a self-sufficient body that surveys and authorizes Higher Education in India. 

It is set up by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India after the suggestions of the National Policy in Education (1986) which underscored the nature of advanced education in India. NAAC was built up in 1994 and its central command is in Bangalore. 

As of August 2017, Prof. Dhirendra Buddy Singh is the Director of National Assessment and Accreditation Council since August 2015. Prof. Ved Prakash is the leader of General Council and Dr. Virander S. Chauhan is the Chairman of the Executive Committee of NAAC.

Library 

It has a completely prepared and all around loaded library which covers all territories of advanced education explicitly related to quality in advanced education and accreditation.
